Trips, places, memories, notes, companions, costs and photo thumbnails are stored on your device and in your private iCloud database. We cannot read them. Deleting the app and its iCloud data removes them.
Roamnote asks for your location while in use to suggest nearby places and to tag photos you take inside the app. Coordinates are saved only with places you choose to keep, and you can remove a place's location at any time.
With your permission Roamnote reads photos from your trip dates to suggest memories, and can save photos you take in the app to your library. Full-size images stay in your library; Roamnote keeps a small thumbnail and a reference.
No analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no accounts, no selling or sharing of data. Sharing between users is opt-in per trip and will be described here before it ships.

Because your data never leaves your device and iCloud, requests to access, correct or delete it are fulfilled by you directly: edit or delete in the app, or remove Roamnote's data in iOS Settings › Apple Account › iCloud › Manage Storage. If you believe we hold anything about you (for example an email you sent us), write to the address above and we will answer within 30 days. Roamnote is operated from Sweden and follows the GDPR.
